How to backup or export your Outlook emails and contacts

If you are using Microsoft Outlook, all your contacts, calendar and emails are stored on your local computer. If you are moving your email to another server or provider, you should ideally backup or export your email settings first just to ensure that nothing goes missing - and this also allows you to import the details into your new email account if needed.
